Cancellation and Migration Policy
We fully support a competitive marketplace and respect every customer's right to choose the integration platform that best meets their needs.
If you decide to move away from Iguana, we wish you every success with your new platform. However, if Iguana is still being used in any production environment, a valid commercial license is required. Continued production use without licensing is not permitted.
If you no longer wish to use Iguana, you will need to complete the engineering work required to migrate your interfaces to an alternative platform, such as Mirth or another integration engine.
Verifying a completed migration is straightforward. We simply require:
- A ZIP archive of each Iguana instance that is recorded in our licensing system.
- A corresponding archive or equivalent evidence of the replacement interfaces implemented on your new platform.
Comparing the existing and replacement configurations provides an objective engineering method of demonstrating that equivalent functionality has been implemented and that production workloads have genuinely been migrated away from Iguana.
Following verification, we will provide the documentation required to formally conclude the licensing relationship. This documentation may require approval by your Chief Legal Officer and confirmation from your insurer where appropriate. We recognize that platform migrations frequently occur during mergers, acquisitions, or broader technology modernization initiatives.
Please note that organizations choosing to continue running unsupported versions of Iguana after ending maintenance will no longer receive software updates, bug fixes, or security patches. As a result, we may require written confirmation from your insurer acknowledging that they accept responsibility for the operational and cybersecurity risks associated with running unsupported software within your environment.
Our objective is not to make migration difficult. It is simply to ensure that organizations either maintain an appropriately licensed production deployment or complete a genuine migration to an alternative platform.
