People - Trust is the New Gold When Technical Progress Goes at Light Speed
I hope to speak soon with Todd Densley, the Cloverleaf VP, about a shift that isn’t immediately obvious: as technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, every groundbreaking idea is quickly overshadowed by the next. In this chaotic landscape, only two things truly matter:
- Who has the best information?
- Who has the trusted relationships to explain it to those who matter?
Technology migration doesn't happen quickly. And frankly we are all in the same boat. Not only do we have to make money to pay the bills - we all the face the same threats.
At the end of the day my humanity matters to me more than money. Otherwise there is no way I would have destroyed by company. I may end up more influential as a result because in this model I help companies which would have been my competitors to use technology like packaging legacy applications to harden them.
Trust has become more valuable than ever—yet it can’t be built overnight. Ironically, technology now advances so rapidly that trust often lags behind. Building real, meaningful relationships takes time, and, amidst this rush, those connections are more essential than ever.
That’s why iNTERFACEWARE is transforming. We’re no longer a traditional company defined by shareholders, stocks, and a fixed hierarchy of employees. Instead, iNTERFACEWARE is now primarily myself, Eliot Muir, working side by side with a network of talented people and companies. I call this an “affiliate model,” and I’ve found it remarkably effective.
This flexible structure allows me to collaborate with highly skilled individuals and groups, enabling us to develop products and write code at a speed and competence that outpaces what a conventional organization could ever achieve. It’s a truly amazing way to work—and looking back, I only wish I had discovered this approach sooner. While I may have arrived at this model later than I’d like, I’m grateful to have found it at all.
We live, we learn, and—true to the saying—what doesn’t kill us only makes us stronger.
It actually makes sense for me to work with Infor since security is everyone's problem. Infor have a big footprint in critical systems that protect our military and health systems.
That matters. See Jeff Lewis and his connection to Teletracking where having old applications suddenly is looking sexy!. Infor has a massive opportunity here.
