License Codes

This is a new, resilient licensing system. It is less fully featured than the legacy license system but is designed to work in a distributed manner. Licensing systems matter—they need to be resilient in the face of disruption.

We are ensuring that customers have all the license codes they need to operate safely until we implement a new automated build system.

Steps to Obtain Your License Code

1. Locate Your Iguana ID:
   You will need your unique Iguana ID to obtain a license code.
   (You can find your Iguana ID on your Iguana instance's license page.)

   If you need access to installers, go to Downloads.

2. Go to https://license.interfaceware.com/
   Based on customer feedback, most users prefer a humorous website over the highly pretentious style common with most enterprise software vendors.

For Chameleon

• Install Iguana 6.1.5 or 6.2 for Windows and use the same license key generator as for Iguana Classic (see above).
• Iguana comes with Chameleon embedded. There are no plans to support separate licensing for Chameleon.
• This approach is best, since Iguana supports encrypted TCP/IP sockets, which is important.

To Get Permanent License Keys: Company ID Required

To obtain permanent license keys, you will need a Company ID.
