Eliot Muir
Eliot founded iNTERFACEWARE in 1997 and has spent most of his career designing and building healthcare integration software.
He created many of the core ideas behind Iguana, including the Translator and its Lua-based development environment. His strength has always been hands-on engineering: understanding difficult technical problems and finding simple, practical ways to solve them.
Today, Eliot's focus is on the architecture and long-term evolution of Iguana.
That means maintaining the reliability and backward compatibility that existing customers depend upon, while carefully modernizing the underlying technology, improving security, and bringing the best ideas from IguanaX back into Iguana 6.
After nearly three decades, the engineering philosophy remains simple: critical infrastructure should evolve carefully.
The goal is not to chase technology for its own sake. It is to keep Iguana reliable, understandable and maintainable for the customers who depend on it.
